Day with Ashley
This morning Ashley and I went to see the “Greatest Show on Earth”. I have some pictures that I will post a little later, they are on the other computer. Ashley and I are going to make Rice Krispie treats tonight, and also home made caramel rolls just like grandma used to make. She brought her report card home the other day, and she is doing so well, this is her second semester of high honor roll. We are forever finding new ways to have fun and learn at the same time and cooking is one of those ways. We are also starting a big research project, that Ashley is going to do, with a little help from mom. She is going to research each of the 50 states and put it all together in a scrapbook. I remember when I was about her age doing a research project about Italy and loving it! She is excited to get started.
I am working through all my homework, Math is tough but even that I am passing. Big news with Ashley’s school is happening all the time. We have big labor volunteers for our playground, and we are working on corporate sponsors. We are also collecting boxtops for education as a way to raise money for the school. If you all don’t mind cutting these out and sending them to me that would be great and helpful for a school that really needs and deserves all it can get.
