I found where I belong…
I have started my volunteer schedule at Ashley’s school. This is great, I spend time 1 day a week in different classroom with different teachers helping in different ways. I love it, I spent an hour today working one on one with students helping them with their weaknesses. I can’t wait to get my substitute teaching certificate and my paraprofessional requirements finished. I am all psyched to get my degree done so I can start getting paid for working with the kids. My biggest challenge is getting Ashley to accept me in the school and understand that I am there for everyone, not just her. I am sure that will get easier with time. Right now it is just new and exciting to see mom around the school all the time.
