Christmas already???
Yesterday “The Biggest Toy Book Ever” from Toys ‘R’ Us came in the Sunday paper. While I have been shopping in the stores for Halloween decoration I am seeing more and more Christmas stuff every day. Halloween is not even over and there is more Christmas in stores then there is Halloween. What ever happened to Thanksgiving??? Ashley is already preparing her wish list for Grandparents, including page number from the Toys ‘R’ Us book. Where has the time gone?
Fortunately I have most of my Christmas shopping done already and even have a wish list started for myself this year. So instead of saying “I don’t know”, I actually have some answers. Ashley and Danny’s gifts are already bought, as well as some family gifts. Paul is tough cause his birthday is in a few weeks, then Christmas is soon afterward. Anyway, just because I am shopping for gifts already doesn’t mean I want to hear Christmas music and see decorations in the stores I go to every week.
Ashley and I did learn yesterday that her Grandpa Ford is starting a new drug trial later this week, so Ashley is talking to him already about all the great things she wants for Christmas. Danny is also talking about wanting to spend this Christmas here in Savannah so he can see what the ocean is like in December.
