Ashley
How Ashley is handling back to school… Ashley is so excited to be back home, with the animals, in her room and in her bed. She is so excited to be going back to school, and especially mom’s new schedule this year. We were talking today about how on the first day of school this year I will have time to park the bus and go inside and meet her teacher and classmates. The best part is she is still young enough to think mom coming to school is still fun and exciting, rather then embarrassing.
How Ashley is reacting to going back on the bus… She is so excited for school to start that she begged and jumped up and down to ride with mom to pick up the school bus today. All I had to do was wait in line after line walking around the office, then finally got in the bus and drove home. She wanted so much to be on the bus it was hard to understand especially since she was able to stay home with Paul. She really wants to be back on the bus this year, but likes the idea of being parent pick up in the afternoons too. She thinks it’s the best of all worlds to get to ride on the bus in the morning, even though she doesn’t always like waking up that early. She also loves that she doesn’t have to sit on the bus all afternoon and can go right home after school.
How Ashley is adapting to new pets…Right now we have a kitten with an ear infection, so every night we are supposed to clean it’s ears and put drops in 2 times a day. The kitten does not like this plan very much. Ash is such a trooper though she jumps right in and helps any way that she can. We also have a dog who is needing daily attention to keep progress in her training going well. Ashley sure has her hands full with the animals. Guess it’s a good thing she ants to be a vet when she grows up.
