Well here it is, Monday August 20th. I finally am starting my own blog so friends and family can see and read about our life here in Savannah, Ga. It has been a long hot summer here in Savannah with many days reaching the high 90s. Ashley spent the summer with her dad, and I spent the summer under paid for all many jobs I did. Summer is vacation time for the kids, and unemployment time for the bus drivers. I however, found plenty to keep me busy. Daniel visited for 4 wonderful weeks, and I worked. I have been scraping paint off walls, and striping paint off doors (pictures of distruction to follow). There were many times I’m sure Paul wished I would go back to work so I would quit making messes and creating projects. Now we are in the final count down to school starting and me going back to work. 2 weeks of freedom left, then back to the bus company for morning routes only. We also added to our already large family this summer. At the beginning of the summer we added Rio, a girl Black Lab puppy who was about 6 months old when we saved him from a bad environment. Then on July 1st Paul came home from work talking about this little baby kitten in the truck yard that seem to have no mommy and was starving to death. ‘Could he please bring it home?’ So the next day he brought it home. We named him ‘Lucky boy’. I’m still figuring this whole thing out, and also trying to find the right pictures, So I will prolly be adding a lot over the next few weeks.
